Primary School and High School Activities

Reepham’s Schools join in the Festival with enthusiasm.

On May 11, the High School ran their fantastic Masterchef organised by Mrs Gibbs. Students submitted recipe ideas using local produce.  Twelve students cooked their recipes under the watchful eye of professional judges. This year’s judges were Gary Dyos of our sponsor Norse, Charlie Hodson and Rotary President Trevor Nelson.  The winners will be awarded their prizes  demonstration marquee on Festival Day. You can see the results here.

The Primary School will be the focus of loads of activity. They will be showing off their new Japanese Garden (and serving miso soup). With our Fun Food Science,  there will be exciting experiments for children to join in. There will also be experts from the Norwich Science Park to explain various aspects of food and cooking.

The expanding allotments at the High School run by students will be open to visit while they show off their produce in the Town Square.

Reepham Scouts will demonstrate their survival cooking skills with rabbit and nettles on the menu.
