Primary School and High School Activities

Reepham’s Schools joined in the Festival with enthusiasm. Our programme with schools has been kindly sponsored by Norse Catering.

On 12 May, the High School ran a fantastic Masterchef organised by Mrs Gibbs. Students submitted recipe ideas using local produce.  Ten students cooked their recipes under the watchful eye of professional judges – the results are here. be

The Primary School was the focus of loads of activity. Pupils showed off the results of their projects on Food and Farming and reporting on their long term links with a school in Japan.

Local education supplier BoostEd are arranged a series of  experiments for children to join in. These included ‘bouncy custard’, ‘fizzy chocolate’ , taste tests and how popcorn works: high school students ran the experiments. see more here.

The expanding allotments at the High School run by students were much visited, while they showed off their work in the Town Square.

Reepham Scouts demonstrated their survival cooking skills with rabbit and nettles on the menu.
